Oligodactyly is a condition in which children are born with fewer than ten fingers or ten toes. The image at left is of the hands a person with just four digits on their right hand.
It is worth noting that cartoon characters are very frequently drawn with four digits on each hand, which makes them oligodactyl, too!
You may read more about oligodactyly in this Wikipedia article or simply search for more information using Google.
Graeme’s approach to explaining maths formulas made it easy for my children to grasp. Graeme had a number of methods by which he could explain each problem, giving the students a clear understanding of how to approach each area of maths. My students came away feeling confident of when, and how to apply each formula to solve the maths problems.
